Fifteen-year-old Frankie Williams wishes she wasn’t herself, specifically she wishes she was the most popular girl in school, Summer Sanders. When that wish comes true, for the briefest of moments – life is sweet. But of course, things don’t stay that way. See Frankie was expecting a basic body swap type scenario because, well, she’s seen movies before. Yet when she goes to her old house, expecting to find Summer in her body, something else happens. She finds her family worried and talking to the police because Frankie Williams has vanished. In this cool twist on the Body Swap genre, two big questions are raised. Where is Frankie’s body and if her body isn’t around anymore, where has Summer’s soul gone?
As posters go up around town for a missing Frankie and vigils are held in her name, Frankie needs to fix the mess she’s made. But seeing as she’s pretty certain the charming stranger who granted her wish was the devil, she might need some kind of back up. So with the help of some unlikely allies, Frankie embarks on an epic journey.
